As a Wealth Counselor at Boy Arnold Wealth Management, an office of AMG National Trust, Eric is responsible for the development and support of new client relationships in the region, as well serving existing relationships within the firm. Eric listens to the unique interests of each client and develops a personal comprehensive plan to guide and support his clients in their overall wealth strategy. He specializes in asset allocation, investment management, income and estate planning, liability management, wealth transfer, liquidity management, and philanthropic management. He navigates the complexity of the financial world to simplify his clients concerns, while proactively meeting the client’s current and future needs. In addition to his client responsibilities, Eric is actively involved with the marketing efforts at the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Eric worked with a national bank and it's chartered trust company for 18 years. He served in numerous positions during this time, each with increasing levels of responsibility. In his last role, he advised high and ultra high net worth clients in the Coastal South Carolina and Georgia markets. As the leader of his team of dedicated professionals, Eric coordinated the wealth planning and investment advisement strategies for multi-generation families, owners of closely held entities and corporate executives.

Eric is actively involved in the arts community on Hilton Head Island. He spent 12 years as a board member of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra (HHSO) and served on it's Executive Committee as the Vice Chairman as well as chairing it's Strategic Planning Committee. He is also the former chair of the HHSO Youth Committee. He is the current President of the Hilton Head Island High School Booster Club. Eric is a former board member of the Hilton Head Estate Planning Council where he was Vice President of Membership. Eric graduated from West Virginia University with a major in Marketing. He is the former President and current board member of the the WVU alumni association, Palmetto Chapter.

Eric has lived in Hilton Head for the past 27 years with his wife Janice and their five children.
